We are seeking a Bridge Design Structural Engineer to fill an immediate opening in our growing Engineering Group. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of design experience, specifically in the bridge engineering field, and will be responsible for design and production of detailed structural drawings for a variety of bridge and road projects.
Qualifications
- 5+ years working as a bridge designer
- NYS Professional Engineering license preferred but not required
- Report writing skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation
- B.S. Civil Engineering
- Familiar with New York State Department of Transportation specifications
- Ability to design prestressed concrete or steel girder bridges according to NYS standards and codes
- Familiar with the LDSA process for working with local municipalities
Pay Range
$35.00 to $55.00 per hour
