Azar Design Co provided site/civil engineering design and surveying services for the development of an urban plaza and public space in downtown Niagara Falls, New York. This 10,000-square-foot parcel, located in the historic downtown, was transformed into a dynamic, multifunctional public gathering area. Key features included a stage for public events, a fabricated, illuminated marquee sign, and custom metal shade structures inspired by the iconic Niagara Falls. The project revitalized a critical section of Old Falls Street, creating an inviting and flexible outdoor square for community gatherings and events.

Our scope involved detailed grading, including design for the stage, ramps, and stairs to ensure ADA-compliant accessibility, as well as site drainage, stormwater management, and paving. Our survey team conducted a comprehensive topographic and boundary survey to delineate property lines, right-of-way records, easements, and utilities. Azar Design Co also served as the local lead for construction administration services, ensuring the successful completion of the project.
